What does the $500 giveaway cover?
The $500 is a gift credit to be applied toward a custom made piece. This includes designs for brides, mothers of the bride or groom, special occasion wear, and bespoke custom pieces. It cannot be used for alterations or online accessories and gifts.
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. The minimum spend to redeem the giveaway is $2,500. This reflects the level of craftsmanship, design time, and materials that go into creating a custom garment at Mel Rose Couture.
Can I exchange the prize for cash or store credit?
No. The prize is not redeemable for cash, store credit, or products outside the scope of a custom special occasion piece.
Can I gift the prize to someone else?
Yes, the credit can be transferred to another person—provided they are eligible and able to attend fittings at the studio. Simply let us know in writing if you wish to transfer your prize.
Where do fittings take place?
All fittings must be completed in person at our studio in Bulleen, Victoria. We do not offer remote fittings for this giveaway.
How long do I have to book once I’ve won?
You must confirm your booking within 12 months of receiving your winner email. We recommend securing your spot well in advance, especially for weddings and formal events.
What if I don’t have an occasion planned yet?
You don’t need to have an event immediately on the horizon—but you do need to book your consultation within the 12-month window. If you’re unsure what to create, we’ll work together to design something timeless and versatile.
How are winners selected?
One winner is drawn at 4pm on the first Sunday of each month. The draw is random and includes everyone subscribed to the Mel Rose Couture giveaway email list.
Can I enter more than once or win multiple times?
You may remain in the draw each month as long as you’re subscribed to the email list, but you can only win once. Multiple wins cannot be combined or accumulated toward a larger prize amount.
How will I know if I’ve won?
Winners are contacted directly via email. Be sure to check your inbox (and your spam folder) at the start of each month.
What happens if I don’t respond to the winner email?
You will still have 12 months to claim your prize. However, we encourage you to reply promptly so we can begin the design process at a time that suits you best.
